Rapper GD from the legendary rap duo The Daredevilz is said to have once turned down a million kwacha offer that had to do with his 2015 hit single titled “Chikondi Chikangoyamba.”
The news was made known during a sit down with podcast host Macnyoni where the Pasanje brothers also revealed what happened with the Fredokiss’ “Ghetto Gutter Entertainment Deal.”
During the chat, Marcus brought the issue to the table when the podcast host wanted to know how much the duo charges for a feature.
“You know somebody offered GD a million for a song and he turned it down,” Marcus said.
Confirming, GD said he was really given the offer by a certain artist who wanted to recreate his song Chikondi Chikangoyamba.
“I said no coz the dude was trynna recreate my song and he was gonna kill the whole thing,” GD confirmed as he refused to name drop the artist.
On their 2018 deal with Fredokiss’ Ghetto Gutter Entertainment, the duo said it did not worked out as they thought it would hence they are currently not attached to any label.
