Musician Piksy through CCNB Media and Five79 Promotions has shifted a date for his Mtunda Album launch in Lilongwe at Bingu International Conference Centre (BICC).
Initially, the album launch in Lilongwe was to be held on Saturday, 2nd July, 2022, but after noting that there will also be another event on the same day near BICC, the management has decided to shift dates to a day earlier.
The management has released a statement on social media.
“It has come to our attention that there will be another event on the same day just across the road from BICC where Mtunda Album Launch is to be held. Bearing in mind that the other event organizers have events on 3 consecutive days in different cities and the second day coincides with our launch day, it would not be possible for them to shift the dates. The management has concluded that we shift the Mtunda Album Launch to a day earlier,” reads part of the statement.
Two weeks ago, the Anana hit-maker held the first successful launch of the 14-track album at Comessa hall in Blantyre where the turn-out was huge.
In an earlier interview, Piksy revealed that his Mtunda Album is all about being honest to oneself and accepting that you have to love yourself to love others.
“I am also encouraging people to be grateful for the little things they have because that is the only way they can appreciate life and give thanks to God,” he said.
Meanwhile, tickets for the launch which will start at 7;00 PM at BICC are still being sold in all designated places.
