Police in Mzuzu have arrested a 27-year-old man and also managed to recover stolen properties worth K4 million.
The suspect Lusungu Kamanga was arrested following a series of burglary and theft cases that has been happening in the district, according to Mzuzu Deputy Police Spokesperson Enala Kalua.
“The suspect was arrested earlier this week and is expected to answer chargers of Breaking into a building and committing a felony. Police have also recovered a number of items suspected to have been stolen, with the latest recovery made today,” said Kalua.
Police added that suspect was recently released from jail after completing a four-year jail term for burglary and theft charges.
