THREE ZAMBIA POLICE OFFICERS IN COURT FOR ROBBING A CHINESE

Three Zambian police officers have today appeared in court for explanation after they robbed a Chinese Businessman money amounting to K150, 000.
The three are identified as Eastern Province detective superintendent Nedson Mwandu, 55, criminal investigations officer detective chief inspector Mike Kasumba, 49, and Sergeant Massimo Hamutete, 40, who is under the anti-robbery unit.
During the hearing, the state substituted the theft charge which was initially imposed on three police officers with aggravated robbery.
The matter has been adjourned to June 14, 2022 for mention.
