A female American writer whose one of the books she wrote was titled “How to Murder Your Husband” has been sentenced to life imprisonment for killing her husband.
Nancy Crampton Brophy was found guilty for the second-degree murder of her 71-year-old husband Crampton Brophy.
According to reports, the author committed the offence in 2018 for a $1.5 million life insurance pay-out.
Crampton, her husband of 26 years was found in the kitchen with two bullets wounds at the Oregon Culinary Institute where he worked.
The author’s case attracted much attention because of the book “How to Murder Your Husband,” with some people saying she had apparently foreseen what was coming ahead.
In her book, she listed a number of ways on how wives would kill their husbands with knives, guns, poison and even hiring hitmen.
An Oregan judge had ruled-out including her book as evidence against her because it was written several years before the case.
