Police in Zimbabwe have arrested two opposition MPs following a violent protest that was organized after an opposition activist got murdered.
The deceased female activist, Moreblessing Ali had gone missing for three weeks before her body was found mutilated in a well.
Two of the MPs arrested were identified as Job Sikhala and Godfrey Sithole.
They were all taken in over charges of inciting violence following the protest.
The police have also accused one of the arrested MPs, Sikhala of being connected to an ‘orgy of public violence’ in the area of Nyatsime, Chitungwiza.
