Two men have been arrested in Machinga after allegedly being found selling a live pangolin in the district.
Machinga Police Station Public Relations Officer, Sergeant Western Kansire has confirmed of the incident with the press.

According to Kansire, police received a tip that the two were offering for sale the protected wild animal. Police acted on the tip and managed to arrest the culprits.
The two have been identified as White Misokwe, 30, and Chitenji Meja, 33, all from Traditional Authority Ntumbwinda in the district.
