Death has been announced of the Managing Director/owner of Chikondi Stopover which is located along M1 road.
It is reported that the owner, Mr Noel Makadali passed on Friday.
According to a source, Makadali died at Zomba Central Hospital where he had been admitted for BP and Diabetes for the past two weeks.
Chikondi Stopover is a famous spot along M1 road which serves travelers who pass through Balaka.
The late Makadali was a well known person as he was also one of the members who performed in the famous Alleluya Band in the early 90s together with the likes of Paul Subiri, Paul Chaphuka just to mention a few.
