Malawi’s President Lazarus Chakwera’s says he will claim all the money, which the country, lost to foreign nations through corrupt activities.
Chakwera said this on Monday in Blantyre during the opening of a two days National Anti-Corruption Conference.
According to Chakwera, some people took the country’s minerals like gold corruptly and deposited then in countries like United Kingdom (UK) and China.
The president claimed that where evidence is available, he will claim back the money of such activities.
Chakwera also called on stakeholders to unite with an aim of winning the battle against corruption.
He, has, repeated his stand of not interfering with institutions that fight against corruption.
