Reports reaching this publication indicates that, a Zambian Member of Parliament (MP) has made headlines across the country for wearing a skirt for his duties at the parliament building.
The PF Chilubi MP, Fube Mulenga is said to have been sent out of the parliament by speaker upon being noticed that he was wearing a skirt during the working hours of Tuesday, June, 6th, 2022.
In the pictures seen on social media, the honorable MP can be seen in a combination of Safari suit jacket and a traditional skirt.
The outfit was deemed as in inappropriate for parliament meetings.
According to Zambian constitution or standing order 206 page 101 of the national assembly of 2021dertss code for MPs, the official attire for a male member shall be a formal executive e suit, or a pair of long trousers, a shirt, a neck tie and a jacket.
